Blood tests
0.5 ml from a 500 g premature baby is 1% of their blood. For you, that's 50 ml.
Heat
They get cold fast. Lots of skin for their size, and not much fat.
Trachea (windpipe)
About 4 cm long at birth. Yours is 10 to 12 cm.
Doses
Every drug and every fluid is worked out by weight.
