Children's Surgery Society is a student society at the University of Nottingham. This page explains what this website stores on your device. The short version: we do not track you, we do not advertise to you, and we do not run analytics.
What we store
This site sets no cookies at all. It stores one item in your browser's local storage:

This item is strictly necessary for a feature you asked for by dismissing the notice. It contains no personal information, it is never sent to our server, and it is not readable by any other website.
What we do not do
- No analytics, of any kind. We do not count or profile visitors.
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No social media tracking pixels or embedded feeds.
- No third party fonts or scripts that report back about you. The only external request this page makes is for our typefaces, served by Google Fonts.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs, which record the page requested, the time, and the requesting IP address. These are used to keep the site running securely and are not combined with anything else or used to identify individual visitors.
Links to other sites
Our sign-up form is a Google Form, and some pages link to Instagram, the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site, and their own cookie and privacy policies apply.
Clearing what we store
Clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings removes the item above. The notice will then appear again on your next visit.
